A small amount of data.
A clear purpose.
We collect the event details or message you submit and, if you provide it, your email address. We use this information to check suggestions, respond to questions and correct listings. You can ask us to remove your address at any time through the contact page.
Kept private
Messages are stored in a private database on our hosting platform (Cloudflare). They are not displayed on the site. We do not sell contact information. Only reviewed event information may be published. When email notifications are enabled, a copy is sent to the editor through Resend and stored in the editor’s email inbox.
Spam prevention
We use a hidden form field, a same-site check and a temporary hashed network identifier to limit repeated submissions. The raw IP address is not saved. Rate-limit identifiers are removed after two days when the form service next runs.
Retention and deletion
Database submissions are removed after 90 days when the form service next runs. Copies in the editor’s email inbox are managed separately; you can request their deletion too. To request earlier deletion, contact us using the same email address and include your submission reference.
Cookies and browser storage
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking scripts. We store your cookie-notice dismissal and, if you choose it, your visit-exclusion preference in your browser. Neither is a visitor identifier. Google Analytics has been removed, and we remove its remaining first-party cookies when you next visit.
Aggregate visit statistics
We count page views, entry sources, campaign labels, external-link clicks, broad device categories and country totals. These are separate daily counters in our own hosting database (Cloudflare), not individual browsing histories. We do not store visitor or session identifiers, IP addresses, full referrer URLs or full browser signatures in these statistics, and we do not use fingerprinting. Your contact-form contents are not included.
Counts cannot identify unique people or show who returned. Repeat visits and undetected bots may affect totals; some sources are unavailable. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals are respected. Clicking “Got it” only dismisses the notice; it does not enable tracking.
Exclude your visits
Enable JavaScript to manage this setting.
This excludes future page views and external-link clicks from our aggregate statistics. Set it separately in each browser and device; clearing site storage resets it. Previously counted visits cannot be removed individually. Technical hosting logs are unaffected.
Our hosting provider also processes technical request information to deliver and protect the site. These hosting logs are separate from our aggregate statistics. Historical data already sent to Google Analytics is not erased by removing the tag.
