Boun Ok Phansa Riverside Celebration in Ban Nonxay
Ban Nonxay marks Boun Ok Phansa with a two-day programme at Wat Sawang Phonhen Xaiyaram and the Mekong riverside. On 25 October: alms and donations at 06:30, followed by a candle procession at 18:00. On 26 October: offerings and illuminated fire boats from 19:00, with traditional Naga fireball watching. Fireball sightings are not guaranteed.
